Our Program & Philosophy

At Ma petite école, our days are structured to protect the natural rhythm of early childhood. Grounded in a distinguished educational foundation from La Sorbonne University in Paris, our curriculum is intentionally designed to train the mind to think through deep cultural immersion and artistic expression.

Within our intimate, small-ratio cohort, children engage with authentic literature and heirloom toys hand-selected from specialized French bookstores and high-end boutiques- ensuring a deeply personalized, elite early childhood experience.

Our Daily Rhythm

  • French Immersion

    We begin our day entirely in French with collaborative play, transitioning into our morning circle to explore the days, months, seasons, and weather. Children learn to conceptualize time through daily life routines- like dressing up and brushing teeth- before joyfully connecting language to movement as we dance and sing together.

  • Fine Art Studio

    Our studio is a vibrant space where art history comes alive through hands-on creation. Children explore texture, color, and movement through projects inspired by masters like Matisse, Seurat, Pollock and others. From scissor-cut collages and pointillist dotting to dynamic action painting, these immersive activities build deep focus, fine motor precision, and creative confidence.

  • Practical Life & Nurturing Arts

    In the afternoon,  our focus shifts to grounding, tactile activities that nurture the senses, physical bodies, and practical life skills. Children participate in real-world responsibilities like starting a load of laundry, tending to our garden, and baking delicious goodies. We weave in joyful physical movement and exercise to energize their bodies, allowing young minds to rest intellectually while building coordination, self-reliance and independence.

  • Storytime & Illustrated Literature

    Books are true treasures, and we treat them as such at Ma petite école. Our library is hand-selected and personally curated from French bookstores, showcasing exquisite books and beloved children’s illustrators. Through expressive storytelling, poetry, and beautiful design, we instill a deep reverence for the book as an object of art. This comforting, screen-free routine builds 

Admissions

At Ma Petite École, we are intentionally seeking families who share a deep alignment with our educational philosophy—parents who value character building, independence, and hands-on learning over rote academic memorization.

We believe in training the mind to think, cultivating a deep reverence for beauty, and protecting the sacred magic of childhood. Because our community is small and tightly-knit, we look for families who wish to walk alongside us in nurturing thoughtful, independent, and creative young minds.

 To provide a consistent, comforting rhythm for the children, our immersion program operates on a structured, predictable schedule: Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Ma Petite École welcomes children starting at 3 years old who are ready to embrace a classroom built on autonomy, creative exploration, and French immersion.

Admissions are handled with great care to ensure our school is the absolute right fit for your child and family. We invite interested parents to schedule a private tour to visit our space, experience our daily rhythm in person, and discuss enrollment availability.
